Fintant
Review-ready workpapers

Give reviewers evidence, controls, and exceptions in one handoff.

Fintant prepares a defined accounting workpaper that connects the agreed sources, preparation, control results, unresolved items, and firm decision path.

When this solution fits

Start with a defined review problem.

  • The expected output is known but the supporting work is fragmented.
  • The firm has a template or can define the required workpaper structure.
  • Source evidence and review controls need to remain traceable.
  • Revisions must preserve history rather than replace prior work silently.
What your firm defines

Inputs and review boundary

  • Defined entity, period, workflow, and expected conclusion boundary
  • Applicable source records and prior supporting schedules
  • Firm template, checklist, and preparation instructions
  • Named reviewer and required decision handoff
What your reviewer receives

Prepared output and exceptions

  • Structured workpaper in the agreed format
  • Source-to-output references
  • Control results and visible exceptions
  • Fintant QA and release notes
  • Version history and firm-review handoff
Controlled workflow

Preparation moves through four accountable stages.

Scope, evidence, preparation, QA, and the firm's decision remain explicit throughout the engagement.

01

Define the workpaper

Confirm the question, source population, template, controls, expected output, and firm review owner.

02

Connect source to preparation

Organize evidence and preserve source references through the prepared schedules and calculations.

03

Run controls and quality review

Record control results, surface exceptions, and complete separate Fintant QA on the version.

04

Release for firm review

Provide the versioned workpaper, evidence, exceptions, and release notes to the authorized firm reviewer.

Control boundary

Preparation is not final approval.

A review-ready workpaper is preparation evidence, not Fintant's final accounting approval, assurance opinion, or authority to release work to the end client.

Fintant prepares the agreed work and completes separate internal QA. Your accounting firm retains professional judgment, final approval, the client relationship, and external communication.

Questions before delegating

What firms usually clarify first

Can Fintant use our firm's template?

Yes, when the template and preparation instructions are included in the approved scope and do not require Fintant to assume final approval authority.

What happens when the reviewer requests a change?

The revised workpaper is issued as a new version. Prior preparation, exceptions, QA, and review history are retained.

Does review-ready mean approved?

No. It means the package is organized for review. The accounting firm still decides whether to approve, reject, or request changes.

First workflow

Start with one bounded scope and one named reviewer.

The initial assessment requires workflow details only, not client files or sensitive financial values.
